My name is Alexander Luis Garcia - I am a NYU Economics Graduate and Golden Gloves Champion teaching boxing here in NYC. I am also the founding trainer at the Well in NYC. Through non-competitive professional boxing-inspired training and motivational speaking, I transform my clients into fighters inside and outside of the ring. My goal as a boxing coach is to see those I have the opportunity of training with to reach the athleticism and mindset of a world class boxer.
Becoming a fighter was the most difficult task Ive ever accomplished but it shaped me into the person I am today. I submitted myself to do whatever it took to become a champion as i knew the reward of doing so would outweigh the costs - the discipline, the hard work, the struggle, it was all worth it; climbing this mountain gave me the mental toughness I needed to succeed in and outside of the ring.
I aspire to make my clients champions in the ring so that they inadvertently become champions at life.
